Who we are
GoConcealedCarry.com is owned and operated by High Performance Media LLC, an independent advertising and information business. We are not a government agency, a law firm, a firearms dealer, or a concealed carry permit issuer. We help visitors understand the concealed carry rules in their state and connect those who are interested with a clearly labeled advertising partner.
What we collect
To use the site you can enter a ZIP code, which we use only to identify your state, and you can answer up to four short questions covering whether you are a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident, what you want a permit for, how often you cross state lines, and what has kept you from getting one. These answers stay in your browser during your visit and personalize what you see. They are never sent to our servers or to any partner. We do not ask for or require your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, or Social Security number to use the site.
Analytics and advertising measurement
We use Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion tracking to understand how visitors use the site and to measure our advertising. These services set cookies and may collect your IP address, device and browser information, and the page that referred you. If you arrive from a Google Ads click, a click identifier such as a gclid is stored in your browser so a later conversion can be attributed to that click.
Information shared with our advertising partner
If you choose to click through to our advertising partner, RushMyConceal, we append a click identifier and campaign tracking parameters, such as which ad and search term brought you to the site, so that a resulting sign-up can be attributed for commission purposes. We do not send your name, email, phone number, ZIP code, or your quiz answers to the partner. Anything you provide to RushMyConceal on their own website is governed by their privacy policy, not ours.
Our own click tracking
Some outbound partner links pass through a tracking address on our own domain before reaching the partner. This is our own software running on our own server, used to measure which ads produce results. It records the click identifier and campaign parameters described above. It does not collect your quiz answers and it does not run on the pages you browse.
Cookies
We use first-party cookies and browser storage for analytics, conversion measurement, and to remember the click identifier described above. You can clear cookies and browser storage at any time through your browser settings.
Data retention
Your quiz answers are not stored on our servers. The click identifier is kept in your browser's local storage until it expires or you clear it. Analytics data is retained according to Google's standard retention settings.
California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the CCPA and CPRA give you the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell your personal information for money. Our use of advertising cookies, such as Google Ads, may be considered sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. To opt out, you can turn on a Global Privacy Control signal in a supported browser, reject or clear cookies in your browser settings, or send a request through our contact form. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Because we do not collect directly identifying information through the site, we usually have nothing to delete. To make a request, use our contact form.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
