Who we are
GoConcealedCarry is an independent informational and advertising website that helps visitors understand baseline eligibility requirements for concealed carry permits in their state.
What we collect from the eligibility quiz
The quiz asks for your ZIP code and four self-reported answers (citizenship status, age bracket, prohibited-person status under federal law, and firearms training status). These answers are stored in your browser during your visit and are used to personalize your result. We do not require your name, email, phone number, date of birth, or Social Security number to use the quiz.
Analytics and advertising measurement
We use Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion tracking to understand how visitors use the site and to measure the performance of our advertising. These services set cookies and may collect IP address, device information, and referrer data. If you arrive from a Google Ads click, a gclid parameter may be stored temporarily to attribute conversions.
Information shared with our advertising partner
If you qualify and click through to Rush Permit, we pass non-sensitive parameters — state, ZIP code, age bracket, citizenship status, training status, and gclid where applicable — as URL parameters so Rush Permit can pre-fill their intake and so conversions can be attributed. We do not share your name, email address, or phone number, because we do not collect them.
Cookies
We use first-party cookies and browser storage for analytics, conversion measurement, and to remember your progress through the quiz. You can clear cookies at any time through your browser settings.
Data retention
Quiz answers are cleared when you close your browser tab. Analytics data is retained according to Google's standard retention policies.
Your rights
Depending on your state or country of residence, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Because we do not collect directly identifying personal information through the quiz, we typically have nothing to delete. For any request, contact us at support@goconcealedcarry.com.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
